ELIA Olive Oil Cake Buttermilk Recipe

1 cup (8 oz) Whole Milk
1 tablespoon Freshly-squeezed Lemon Juice or White or Apple Cider Vinegar
1. Combine milk and lemon juice or vinegar in a measuring cup
2. Stir and let sit and thicken for five minutes before use
***The mixture will appear slightly curdled, which is completely normal due to the acid reacting with the milk, thus creating... buttermilk.
